DAY 1:
Upon your arrival at the Jo'burg International airport you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in. The day today is at leisure for you to relax after a long flight. Spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 2:
After breakfast today we have arranged a full day safari to Pilanesberg for you. This beautiful National Park - one of the largest in South Africa is Adjacent to Sun City. The park covers an area of 55 000-hectares and its plains are rich and fertile as they were once part of a now extinct volcanic crater. Majestic hills encircle the park and a large central watering hole is ideal for game viewing. The park is found in the transition zone of the Kalahari and the Lowveld, and therefore both types of vegetation are found. Pilanesberg National Park is home to all of the Big Five and other large game including giraffe, hippo, zebra and crocodile, as well as an extreme diversity of birdlife (over 300 species have been recorded). A visit to the park is always rewarding! There are a number of hides and picnic spots to stop and stretch your legs. After enjoying the safari return to the hotel. Evening is at leisure and the night at the hotel.
DAY 3:
In the morning enjoy the breakfast and depart for a half day city tour of Jo'burg. Drive through the Rainbow Nations financial capital taking in the Banking district, the Magistrate's Court and the Supreme Court. Visit the "top of Africa" at the Carlton Centre before heading to Museum Africa. Drive through some of the most picturesque and avant-garde suburbs in the country before returning to your hotel. DAY 4:
After an early breakfast get ready for a full day tour to the beautiful Sun City. We will depart from Johannesburg early in the morning and travel by road to the Sun City Resort Complex - a millionaire's playground which lies in an age-old bushveld valley in the North-West province. This unique resort offers a huge range of restaurants, sports, leisure activities, golf, wonderful entertainment and gaming. The resort also houses The Valley of Waves, which is the master of recreational water-parks in the world - a pleasure Kingdom for thrill seekers. There are four world-class hotels including the magnificent Palace of the Lost City that glitters like a jewel beneath the African sun, brilliant in its rain forest surroundings and luxurious in its detail and design. We will return to the city in the late afternoon. The evening is at leisure and the night at the hotel.
DAY 5:
After the breakfast today, checkout of the hotel and proceed to the airport for your flight to Durban. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your pre booked hotel to check-in. The rest of the day is at leisure and the night at the hotel.
DAY 6:
With an early morning departure, you drive northwards towards Zululand, passing the rolling hills of sugar cane fields and forest plantations, interspersed with patches of subsistence peasant agriculture. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in Hluhluwe-Umfolozi game reserve - the oldest in Africa and world renowned for its work in saving the rhino from extinction and where all the Big Five occur. Enjoy your lunch at Hilltop Camp and marvel at the wonderful panoramic views which can be seen from the largest hill in the reserve. Your tour ends upon arrival at your hotel. Spend the Night at the hotel.
DAY 7:
After an early morning pick up from your hotel, you will drive to Zululand passing the rolling hills of sugar-cane fields and forest plantations. Visit Shakaland, a Zulu kraal, near Eshowe, in the Nkwalini Valley. Enjoy and participate in the cultural programme of Zulu traditions: beer brewing spear making, hut building, pottery and weaving and witness for your self the layout and structure of a kraal. Experience traditional singing and dancing followed by a typical Zulu meal. The tour ends upon your arrival back at your hotel. Spend the Night at the hotel.
DAY 8:
After pick up from your hotel, we travel along the beachfront to Durban's harbour. Then we continue along the palm-lined Victoria Embankment with its statues and exclusive yacht club to the sugar terminal. You will visit the Botanical Gardens before stopping at the Indian Market where you can hunt for bargains. Your tour ends back at your hotel. Spend the Night at the hotel.
DAY 9:
After breakfast today you checkout of the hotel and proceed toward the airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel where you check-in and relax for the rest of the day. The night is at your hotel
DAY 10:
After an early breakfast today we have arranged an amazing tour for you. We will collect you from your accommodation in Cape Town and drive you to the 'White Shark Lodge' in Kleinbaai. Upon arrival the skipper of the day gives a short lecture on shark anatomy and behavior, explaining how they work with the sharks in the area. We then proceed to the sea where we will spend 2 to 4 hours (depending on how often the sharks visit the boat). The cage takes 5 people at a time, each person spends about 15 minutes in the cage. The White Shark Project is without a doubt the most successful white shark diving organization in the world. Working in a unique marine area off the southern Cape coast, our skippers log more contact with great white sharks than anyone else worldwide. The boat (Shark Team) is an 11 metre, 4 ton catamaran with all the latest electronic and safety equipment. The boat was custom-built for shark diving, so there is plenty of space for everyone to see the sharks with comfort. The crew and staff are distinguished by their functional and technical expertise, combined with hands-on experience to ensure you receive an effective and professional service. At the end of the tour we will drive you back to your accommodation in Cape Town. Spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 11:
After the morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation, this delightful drive winds its way to the heart of the Cape Winelands, through superb mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads. Head off to the wine-country to one of the Cape's first farming districts-Paarl. The town is set at the foot of the cluster of remarkable granite domes from which it takes its name. Our first stop of the morning is the picturesque Seidelberg Wine Estate. An informative cellar tour and wine tasting gives visitors personalized insight into the finer points of wine-making. From here, proceed to the town of Franschoek, billed as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, this charming town, is set in a most picturesque valley. We enjoy a wine tasting at one of the numerous wine estates in the area, before taking time to enjoy time for lunch at one of the many award winning restaurants. Onward to Stellenbosch, via the scenic Helshoogte Pass, the heart of the South African wine industry boasting great beauty and culture that is steeped in South African history. Walk down the canal-lined avenues, in the shade of giant oak trees and beautifully preserved historic buildings where an air of quiet intellectualism and wine-making history abounds in this university town. Spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 12:
After breakfast today the day is at leisure. You can relax at the hotel or visit the local markets. Spend the night at the hotel.
DAY 13:
After the breakfast today you checkout of the hotel and will be transferred to the International airport for your flights back home. We hope you had a wonderful time. See you again.
